Dominique Hunter

Dominique is an interior designer who balances many contrasts: attentive to clients and mindful of detail; slicing red tape and sourcing the best tradespeople; designing a boardroom or decorating a bedroom.
Early in 1999, Dominique moved to Melbourne from Brisbane where she had worked with prominent architects as an interior designer. Her active areas of skill and interest include project planning, design development and client liaison.
Dominique's greatest talent lies in space planning, where she enjoys creating optimal working and living environments with signature clean lines and practical comfort.
She paid her dues in the demanding world of commercial fitouts, such as designing and implementing interiors on 24 levels of the Suncorp Metway building in Brisbane.
She then worked with a prominent firm of Melbourne architects on projects such as the Rolex tenancy in Sydney's Australia Square, featuring quality detailed joinery — another of her hallmarks and passions.
Dominique graduated with distinction in the Bachelor of Built Environment, majoring in Interior Design, at the Queensland University of Technology in 1995.
She is a Victorian Registered Building Practitioner and an active member of the Design Institute of Australia.
Antony Richards

Antony is the yang to Dominique's yin. With design, marketing and business skills honed in the fast–changing world of new media and graphic design, he understands that clients expect a professional approach to the behind–the–scenes management of their interior projects.
After completing his second design degree, specialising in concept development and design layout, Antony freelanced in the new media industries for a number of years before settling into a full–time design position at a small advertising agency in Spring Hill, Brisbane.
Over the next two years, Antony successfully fused technical knowledge with artistic flair to create leading internet and intranet websites for government and corporate clients.
Arriving in Melbourne, he worked for a leading software development company, applying his design skills to solve complex problems such as those posed by the Melbourne Trading Post. He has freelanced for several new media agencies, developing software and internet solutions for Spring Valley and National Australia Bank.
Armed with this extensive experience in the commercial world, Antony now provides effective interior design project and business management to the firm of Hunter and Richards.
